Association between Leadership, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment & Employee’s Performance: A Study of Banking Sector of Pakistan

The main purpose of this study is to find out effect of Transformational Leadership, Job satisfaction, organizational commitment to performance of banking employees in Pakistan. Improving job satisfaction, organizational commitment and leadership among employees are important aspects which result in improved performance. This study was carried out on banking sector employees of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Pakistan. The results of the statistical analysis prove significantly positive effect of Job satisfaction and transformational leadership on the employee’s performance. Whereas organizational commitment was not found, to have a significant relation to the employee’s performance. In order to yield better performance, Organizations should take measures to improve leadership qualities of their managers and job satisfaction level of employees and workers. The study also make valuable contribution to the existing literature on Job satisfaction, organizational commitment and leadership and their relationship with employee performance, particularly for developing country like Pakistan.
