An Analysis of Project Risk and its Determinants: A Case of Software Houses in Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Abstract

A considerable research has been done to explain fundamentals of project (time, cost and scope), change reaction, project training and company environment and their impact on the risk level faced by the project. This study is designed to find the impact of fundamentals of project (time, cost and scope), change reaction, project training and company environment on project risk at planning and execution by selecting the sample from software houses of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The focus of this study is to find that whether project team consider the importance of proper implementation of the above mentioned variables which in turn help to minimize the risk level during planning phase of the project as well as execution.
